The book “I” is a guide to parents and teachers The book “I” is a contemplative and interactive journey that helps the young man to explore himself and his identity deeply, and offers him a free space to express words, drawing, or scribbles, without prejudices or right and wrong answers. Each page within the book constitutes an invitation to internal dialogue and meditation on basic topics such as: identity, body, memory, feelings, relationships, dreams and ambitions, place and time, choice and responsibility, fear and courage, happiness and sadness. It also provides the opportunity to think about secondary topics related to the self, such as the influence of language on identity, our reflection of others, the evolution of the body and cells over time, the family and social experience, and how daily events can shape an individual's consciousness, decisions, and feelings. The child or young person is the owner of experience, chooses when and how to express himself, and decides what he shares and what he keeps internally. Parents and teachers should be companions to support, listen and reflect, by asking open-ended questions, encouraging free thinking, and respecting privacy, without imposing an answer or evaluating the results. The book promotes self-awareness and inner growth, critical thinking, creative imagination, and internal dialogue, and allows young men to practice the philosophy of everyday life through questioning and reflection: Who am I? Am I what I feel? Is the place part of my identity? And how do events, decisions, and others affect my composition? The book does not provide ready-made answers, but encourages a changing personal journey that develops over time.
